The Point of Order App serveed Vanderbilt Campus Dining’s Ro*Tiki restaurant, an island-themed location.
With hours of operation set to turn ordering permissions “on” and “off” during different dayparts, the app presented different menus for breakfast and lunch/dinner. Customers entered their name, selected the type of food, and then either ordered an item as-is or customized a sandwich or pizza with different combinations before finalizing their order.
The app reported ordering statistics to the server and came with a set of tools to track customer ordering patterns.
Complete with a custom set of graphics and sound effects, the Ro*Tiki Point of Order App was able to turn orders into the kitchen in under 30 seconds per customer.
