The Point of Order App served Vanderbilt Campus Dining’s Rocket Subs locations, a grilled sub restaurant.
Powering two units with different hours of operation on campus, the app presented different menus for breakfast and lunch/dinner. Customers entered their name, selected the type of food, and then either ordered an item as-is or customized a sandwich with different meats, cheeses, dressings and spreads before doubling, toasting or supplementing their order.
The app reported ordering statistics to the server and came with a set of tools to track customer ordering patterns.
Complete with a custom set of graphics, music and sound effects, the Rocket Subs Point of Order App was able to turn orders into the kitchen in under 30 seconds per customer.
